Of course, property buyers are free to design and build their dream home using architects and builders of their choice. The mountain setting of Floyd County and the long-range views offered throughout The Crossing make log or timber frame houses especially appropriate - with soaring ceilings, large windows, and expansive decks and porches. In this light, the Crossing has partnered with Blue Ridge Log Cabins, Countryside Construction, and Turman Log Homes, major providers of log and timber frame homes in the region. There are many examples of homes built by these firms within a short drive which can be easily visited. We have dozens of home designs, all of which can be easily customized, and a team of designers and engineers ready to provide custom homes should you like to design your home from the ground up.
